Graphic design and retail

Growing up technology was always incorporated in my life. Graphic design and retail are my two career paths at the moment (both involving technology). The knowledge I have in the area of technology helps in both paths. I've been into art and graphics from a very young age. As I got older, my interest became primarily digital arts. That's the reason why I chose to attend the Micro publishing and Hypermedia program at Vanier College, in order to learn the ins and outs of the popular the design software, i.e. QuarkXpress, Adobe Suite: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Indesign, etc. While studying in college I also had a part time job in retail, selling electronics, i.e. televisions, video games, wacom tablets, etc. This was around the time where I developed my skills as both a graphic designer and sales person.

In 2006, while I was surfing the web I stumbled on the website Threadless. Which is basically a company that does graphic design and retail all in one. Since then I've purchased quite a few t-shirts:

After becoming so popular online, they've even opened up a retail store in Chicago. Even the store has such a creative feel to it. If I ever get the chance to go to Chicago, I'm definitely doing to the Threadless store.

Go to their website and buy an awesome t-shirt: www.threadless.com
